We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a delivery driver. You will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, making it ideal for someone with prior delivery driver experience or a commercial driving background. Responsibilities • Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations., • Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage., • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues., • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages., • Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition., • Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods. Requirements • Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not essential as training is provided., • Valid driving licence with no more than 6 points; no DR convictions, but IN convictions are accepted., • Experience driving larger vehicles is advantageous., • Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is beneficial., • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) during loading and unloading processes., • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and customers., • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is essential.
