As a Senior Digital Project Manager, this role leads the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex digital change initiatives within DWP Digital. It requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and delivery expertise to drive successful outcomes across multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: • Lead project teams to ensure robust project controls are in place, including effective management of plans, risks, issues, and dependencies., • Oversee governance and reporting processes, providing clear communication to Digital Directors and resolving complex issues that may require board-level decisions., • Manage a diverse stakeholder environment, setting delivery pace and collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure successful outcomes., • Foster a high-performing team culture by coaching team members to enhance flow, quality, and ownership. Address conflict constructively and promote a positive working environment., • Champion continuous learning and development in project management practices, digital frameworks, and emerging technologies. Our offer to successful candidates will be based on an assessment of your skills and experience as demonstrated at interview. Existing Civil Servants who secure a new role on lateral transfer will maintain their current salary. Existing Civil Servants who gain promotion will either move to the bottom of the grade pay scale or get a 10% increase to their current salary whichever would be the greater. This statement should be used to provide examples of how you meet the essential criteria below: • An experienced Project manager with demonstrable History of taking full responsibility, for the definition, documentation and successful completion of a number of large-scale complex projects, preferably transformation, utilising both internal and external suppliers., • Relevant experience of establishing new teams and agile processes, in relation to project deliverables and business as usual tasks., • Experience of managing complex external dependencies that have required significant planning and prioritising in order to ensure pace and quality of delivery is maintained., • Communicate with others in a clear, honest and enthusiastic way in order to build trust. Explain complex technical issues in a way that is easy to understand and influence Senior level decision making., • Identify and pursue appropriate development opportunities for both yourself and your team to enhance delivery outcomes. 4. Technical statement (up to 250 words). The following statement is aligned to the required technical skill of Project Management. The sift panel will use the information in your employment history, personal statement, and technical statement to assess your experience, skills and knowledge.
