IMPORT AGENT job description:
• Selection of the right products and its quantities in accordance with the demand of UK customers by analyzing present market trends.
• Sourcing and selecting the right factories for the right products in the exporting countries.
• Passing through approvals of fitting/PP/production/shipping samples and required accessories on time.
• Making sure production starts as per the delivery schedule while in-line inspection during production is mandatory.
• Arrangements of the Final Random Inspection (FRI) well in advance of the final handover day.
• Ensuring timely handover of the goods with prior approvals of the FRI from customers.
• Proactively ensure post-delivery services to the customers in the UK.
• Researching new markets and to keep trying to add new customers in the list to grow the business to the further higher.
