



We are looking for a highly organised, fast-paced, and detail-focused Inventory & Stock Control Coordinator to manage and maintain the accuracy of our stock and EPOS/till system across the business.
This role is responsible for ensuring all products, deliveries, pricing, and stock quantities are correctly recorded and maintained within the system. The successful candidate will play a key role in stock accuracy, supplier reconciliation, delivery checking, and product data management.
This is a fast-moving retail environment, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Control & System Accuracy
Conduct regular stock counts using handheld scanning terminals
Scan and upload products accurately onto the stock system
Maintain accurate stock quantities within the EPOS/till system
Investigate and correct stock discrepancies
Ensure product barcodes, descriptions, pack sizes, and categories are correct
Delivery Checking & Supplier Reconciliation
Check deliveries against supplier invoices and purchase orders
Identify shortages, damages, missing items, or pricing discrepancies
Report and follow up on supplier issues
Chase refunds, claims, and credit notes where applicable
Ensure all delivery data is entered correctly into the system
Pricing & Product Maintenance
Update product prices within the system when costs change
Add new products and ensure all product information is accurate
Monitor margin-impacting price errors
Ensure promotional and retail pricing is correctly reflected on tills
Operational Support
Work closely with management to improve stock accuracy and reporting
Assist with stock audits and inventory investigations
Support smooth day-to-day operation of the store systems
Help reduce stock loss, waste, and pricing errors
Skills & Experience Required
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Able to handle pressure and remain organised during intense busy periods
Good numerical and organisational skills
Comfortable using handheld scanners and computer systems
Experience with stock control, retail systems, or inventory management preferred
Ability to identify discrepancies and solve problems independently
Good communication skills when dealing with suppliers and staff
Reliable, proactive, and able to manage workload effectively
