Kitchen Assistant – Delicias We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Delicias. The role involves supporting the daily preparation and service of our Portuguese & Brazilian food, helping to ensure the kitchen and food counter are ready for service each day. Main responsibilities: * Morning food preparation and preparation for lunch service * Assisting with the preparation of hot dishes, salads, sandwiches and other products * Keeping the kitchen and preparation areas clean and organised * Following food hygiene and safety procedures * Replenishing the food counter throughout the day when required * Monitoring products and informing the team when items need to be prepared or restocked * Supporting the front counter/team during the afternoon when required * Cleaning and general kitchen duties * Working together with the rest of the team to ensure a smooth daily service We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a busy environment. Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred, but training can be provided to the right candidate. Portuguese or English speaking candidates are welcome.

This is a varied role where you will support different areas of the shop throughout the day and help ensure our customers receive friendly and efficient service.
