Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use. Requirements Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar culinary environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
