This is a hands-on, builder-level product role. You will set product direction and stay close to execution, working directly with engineers, shaping UX and flows, writing detailed product specs, reviewing edge cases, and obsessing over how real users discover, engage with, and keep coming back to our products. If your preference is to operate mainly through delegation, process optimisation, or internal systems ownership, this role will not be a fit. We are deliberately upfront. The Role We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to own and evolve consumer-facing digital products used by students and early-career talent at scale. This is a B2C-first role, focused on building highly engaging, useful, and distinctive tools that resonate with a Gen Z audience products that feel intuitive, motivating, and genuinely helpful. You’ll act as a true product owner: blending vision, UX intuition, growth thinking, and delivery discipline, while partnering daily with engineering and design to ship features that drive traffic, engagement, and real-world outcomes. This is a high-trust, high-ownership environment. You’ll have autonomy and you’ll be expected to use it boldly. What you’ll actually do Product Vision, Growth & Engagement • Define and articulate a compelling product vision rooted in user behaviour, Gen Z needs, and commercial outcomes, • Blend product strategy with acquisition, activation, and engagement thinking, • Lead discovery through user research, experimentation, and insight, • Make confident product decisions that balance creativity, data, and speed, • Represent product direction clearly to senior stakeholders and execs Hands-on Product Delivery (Core expectation) • Write and own PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, • Work directly with engineers on solution design, UX flows, and trade-offs, • Stay close to tickets, edge cases, and delivery risks, • Be actively involved in sprint planning, refinement, and retros Collaboration & Influence • Partner closely with engineering, design, data, and commercial teams, • Translate fuzzy user and business problems into clear, shippable outcomes, • Balance creative vision with execution realism, • Communicate decisions clearly, even when trade-offs are uncomfortable Who this role is for You’re a senior product leader who: • Has built consumer-facing products, not just internal platforms, • Enjoys blending product, UX, growth, and marketing instincts, • Thinks naturally about how users discover, engage with and return to products, • Can move effortlessly between big-picture vision and delivery-level detail, • Feels accountable for outcomes Key Criteria (Essential) • Proven experience owning B2C or consumer-facing digital products end-to-end, • Strong evidence of hands-on product leadership at a senior level, • Experience working directly with engineers on delivery and implementation, • Clear understanding of user engagement, activation, and retention, • Comfortable shaping products for students, early-career users, or Gen Z audiences, • Data-literate, with the ability to define, measure, and learn from impact, • Your background is primarily internal systems, compliance, or governance-led, • You prefer strategy decks over shipping real product, • You expect delivery to be handled entirely by others, • You see UX, engagement, or growth as “someone else’s job” Nice to have • Experience in consumer SaaS, marketplaces, education, learning, or creator platforms, • Exposure to AI-driven or data-heavy consumer products, • Founder or early-stage product experience, • Demonstrable proximity to Gen Z users or communities Why apply? • Products used by millions of students and early-career users, • Real commercial and behavioural impact not vanity metrics, • Freedom to build, test, and evolve meaningful consumer products, • A culture that values builders with taste, • Senior autonomy
