Production Operative - Electric Vehicle / Automotive Manufacturing - London - £30k Location: NW10, London (On-site, 5 days per week) Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 base + fast progression Company Overview We are a growing engineering-led company developing micro mobility vehicles and related mobility products. The team is currently around 30 people and is on track to double in size this year. Having spent the past phase focused on prototyping and R&D, the business is now moving into production, making this an exciting time to join and grow with the company. The Role This is a hands-on mechanical role suited to someone who enjoys working with physical products and wants to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment. You will support the build, testing, and refinement of vehicles and mechanical systems, working closely with engineers and the wider production team. This role is fully on-site and requires someone who enjoys being in the workshop and involved day-to-day. Key Responsibilities Goods Inward & Outward • Receive, inspect and book in deliveries, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes and purchase orders., • Prepare and dispatch goods, ensuring correct packaging, labelling and documentation., • Maintain accurate stock levels and update inventory systems promptly., • Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies., • Keep the stores area clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements., • Support layout improvements and efficient storage methods., • Issue parts and materials to production teams in a timely manner., • Replenish workstations and ensure components are available for upcoming jobs., • Update stock systems, delivery logs and internal documentation accurately., • Support cycle counts, audits and process improvements within the stores function. Qualifications & Experience • Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, logistics or materials-handling role., • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment preferred., • Basic understanding of stock control systems and warehouse processes., • Ability to lift, move and handle materials safely (training provided)., • Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)., • Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
