The Family Group We are looking for a paralegal to join our highly regarded Family Group at Harbottle & Lewis, led by Catherine Bedford. Recognised as leaders in the field, the Family Group handles an extensive range of family law matters, including nuptial agreements, financial claims on divorce, financial provision for children, and both domestic and international private law children work. The role The successful candidate will work closely with partners and other lawyers within the Group, gaining exposure to a variety of high-quality matters. Your responsibilities will include: • Attending court hearings and client meetings., • Drafting initial correspondence and court documents., • Conducting legal research and preparing bundles., • Assisting with the preparation of costs schedules, bills, and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess:, • A strong academic background, including a minimum of a 2:1 degree., • A minimum of six months' experience working within a family law practice at a law firm., • Exceptional technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook., • Excellent time management and organisational abilities., • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work under pressure., • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team., • A positive and enthusiastic attitude, demonstrating confidence and a commitment to excellence.
