Corporate Paralegal – Central Manchester (Training Contract After 6 Months) Location: Central Manchester Salary: Competitive, DOE Working Pattern: Full-time, Office-Based Firm: Reputable Commercial Law Firm Overview A well-respected commercial law firm in Central Manchester is seeking an ambitious and motivated Corporate Paralegal to join its growing Corporate & Commercial team. This is an exceptional opportunity offering a guaranteed training contract after the first 6 months, providing a clear route toward qualification and long-term progression. Key Responsibilities Corporate Transaction Support • Assist on a range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, business and share sales, restructures, and shareholder arrangements., • Support due diligence processes by reviewing documents, preparing reports, and collating key information., • Draft corporate documents and ancillary paperwork including board minutes, completion documents, share certificates, and Companies House filings., • Draft and review commercial contracts such as NDAs, service agreements, supply agreements, and terms of business., • Liaise with clients, external professionals, and internal stakeholders to support smooth progression of matters., • Prepare client communications, meeting notes, summaries, and updates., • Prepare corporate bundles and documentation for completions, meetings, and negotiations., • Maintain organised and compliant case files in line with regulatory obligations., • Support lawyers with diary management, document organisation, and general administrative tasks relating to corporate transactions. Requirements • 6–12 months’ experience as a Paralegal (corporate/commercial experience desirable but not essential)., • Strong academic foundation: LLB required; LPC/SQE (completed or in progress) preferred., • Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail., • Strong research and analytical skills., • Confident communicator with the ability to work in a client-facing role., • Highly organised with the ability to manage deadlines in a busy environment., • Genuine passion for corporate law and clear motivation to qualify as a solicitor., • Proactive, driven, and eager to develop within a growing team.
