Key Responsibilities: • Childcare and Education: • Plan and deliver a variety of activities and learning experiences that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. • Support children’s development in a safe and secure environment, catering to individual needs and promoting inclusivity. • Monitor and assess children’s progress, keeping accurate records and sharing updates with parents and caregivers. • Safety and Wellbeing: • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures. • Implement hygiene and safety practices such as proper handwashing, meal/snack preparation, and emergency procedures. • Administer first aid when necessary, and promptly report any concerns or incidents. • Teamwork and Collaboration: • Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment. • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development activities. • Parental Engagement: • Build strong relationships with parents, providing feedback on their child’s development, achievements, and any concerns. • Respond to parents’ queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner. • Administrative Duties: • Maintain records of children’s daily activities and development milestones. • Assist with the preparation and tidying up of the nursery environment, ensuring all resources are clean, well-maintained, and safe for use.

Working hours: The working hours for this role are on a rota basis, 7 shifts a week. The club is closed on Bank Holidays and throughout Christmas each year.
