Key Responsibilities • Assist chefs with daily food preparation and ingredient handling, • Prepare vegetables, sauces, garnishes, and other ingredients as instructed, • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen areas, • Wash dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and cooking tools, • Ensure food storage areas are clean, organised, and properly labelled, • Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times, • Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company procedures, • Assist with stock deliveries and storage of goods, • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, • Report any maintenance, safety, or hygiene concerns to management Requirements • Previous kitchen experience is preferred, • Positive attitude and willingness to learn, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, • Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene, • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently, • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

We are looking for a part-time kitchen prep assistant for a catering / food business based in East London E14. Main duties: • Meat cutting and preparation, • Vegetable cutting and food prep, • Basic kitchen cleaning and organisation, • Supporting general back-of-house kitchen work Working hours: • Around every other day, • 3–5 hours per shift, • Exact days and times can be discussed Requirements: • Previous kitchen experience required, • Confident with meat and vegetable preparation, • Good knife skills and fast working speed, • Reliable, clean, punctual and able to work independently, • Must have the legal right to work in the UK Location: East London, E14 Pay: Legal hourly pay at or above the UK National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage.
