The Roles and Responsibilities are as you'd expect for a kitchen porter, washing dishes, cleaning equipment, emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors, a little bit of basic food prep and helping to bag up deliveries. Job Summary: The role of the Commis Chef at Secret Smokehouse is to work directly in the production team, including supporting chef tasks, always maintaining high hygiene standards in the creation of ready to eat products. The role requires the employee to work well as a team, sometime under pressure and be able to deal with the artisan quantities of smoked fish that Secret Smokehouse produces here in East London.
