For our deli kosher kitchen in Hampstead we're looking for kitchen assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced mechanic / mot tester to join our well established, busy and growing business. There is room for growth within the role and opportunities to progress. Responsibilities include: - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues - Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems - Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks - Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work - Opening and closing procedure (depending on shift pattern) - Talking to customers and clearly communicating information relating to their vehicle. Requirements: - Proven experience as a mechanic or similar role - Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude - Proficiency with power tools and hand tools - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams - Excellent problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and accuracy in work - Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting or working in awkward positions Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. As a Handyman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our properties and facilities, ensuring they are in good condition and meet the needs of our residents or clients. Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems. Complete carpentry, painting, and drywall tasks as needed. Install and repair fixtures, appliances, and equipment. Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify maintenance issues and safety hazards. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or clients and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies and ensure they are in good working condition. Follow safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks. Collaborate with property managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate maintenance activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and job sites. Requirements: Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role. Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques. Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed. we are looking for a gardener with experience to carry out and maintain residential gardens from May to October. you will be working with a team and will require a full uk driving licence. works are carried out from Monday to Friday weather permitting working times are from 8am to 4pm. wages will be £14.10 per hour. you will be working in north and east London. All tools will be provided. wages are paid are paid on the last working day of the month. Photo ID and proof of address will be required.
