Happy Flavours Caribbean Takeaway is looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Part-Time Front of House Assistant to join our team.
This role would be ideal for a student looking for flexible part-time work alongside college or university.
Pay: To be discussed
Hours: Part-time, with weekday and weekend shifts available
Main Duties
- Serving customers at the front of the shop
- Taking customer and telephone orders accurately
- Managing Uber Eats and Just Eat orders
- Packing takeaway and delivery orders
- Checking orders before they leave the shop
- Restocking drinks, sauces, packaging and other front-of-house items
- Keeping the front counter and customer area clean and tidy
- Updating unavailable items on Uber Eats and Just Eat
- Helping the team during busy periods
- General front-of-house duties
What We’re Looking For
We would like someone who is:
- Friendly and confident with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable using tablets and ordering systems
- Organised and able to work in a busy environment
- Willing to learn
Previous takeaway, restaurant, retail or customer-service experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.
Availability
We are currently looking for people who can work across:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
You do not need to be available every day.
