Pizza Chef Assistant - San Remo Cafe

Join our team as an assistant pizza chef and work in a dynamic kitchen where you'll help create delicious pizzas, made from scratch with our in-house dough and ciabatta bread. Assist with our breakfast and full pizza menu, including weekly specials. We value teamwork and motivation, and you'll be a crucial member of our kitchen team. The position requires availability for 5 days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm in the spring and summer months, and from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in the winter. Enjoy benefits such as free parking and complimentary staff lunch. You'll also be enrolled in a Nest pension scheme. Starting salary is £13 per hour, and we provide level 2 Health and Hygiene training if needed.

Our grill food is marinated in house and cooked over hot coals so we need someone who is great at food prep, and can work in front of the grill. We also plan to expand our menu to include Sunday Roasts. Ideally we are looking for someone fairly local, preferably with pub kitchen experience. We are looking for someone friendly and reliable. A good knowledge of how to cook meat is an added bonus. Other requirements will be, keeping kitchen clean and maintaining hygiene standards, talking to customers, and coming up with signature dishes for the menu.

Indian Tandoori & Curry Chef – Desi Pub (SL3 0LX) We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef skilled in both tandoori cooking and authentic Indian curries to run the kitchen at our new Desi pub. The kitchen is compact, so we need a versatile, confident all-rounder who can handle both tandoor and curry sections independently.
