It's about having conversations, answering questions, and helping people better understand the career path they're considering. What can you share as a mentor? For example, you could talk about: • What a typical day in your profession looks like., • Which qualifications and skills truly matter., • How you entered your industry., • What employers usually look for in candidates., • Your experience working at particular companies., • Career progression opportunities., • Challenges someone should know before entering the profession., • What you would do differently if you were starting again., • How you successfully changed careers or specialised.
