
Little Italy Soho is looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership team. This is a hands-on role for a passionate Italian-focused chef who can support the Head Chef in running a busy, quality-driven kitchen while maintaining high standards of food, organisation, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operationsLead and motivate the kitchen team during serviceEnsure consistent quality, presentation, and portion controlAssist with menu development, specials, and seasonal dishesManage stock control, ordering, and wastageMaintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standardsTrain and develop junior chefsStep up to run the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous ChefSolid background in Italian cuisine (fresh pasta, sauces, traditional & modern dishes)Strong leadership and communication skillsCalm under pressure in a fast-paced Soho environmentPassion for quality ingredients and consistencyGood understanding of food cost control and kitchen systemsLegal right to work in the UK
