Key responsibilities: • Prepare ramen varieties including tonkotsu, shoyu, and miso., • Prepare broths, tare, aromatic oils, noodles, halal beef, ramen eggs, vegetables, and other traditional toppings., • Maintain consistent flavour, portion sizes, presentation, and food quality., • Organise ingredient preparation, stock rotation, kitchen operations, and waste reduction., • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety., • Work efficiently during busy service periods as part of a professional kitchen team., • Support menu development and the introduction of new dishes when required. Requirements: • Proven professional experience as a ramen chef in a Japanese restaurant or specialist ramen kitchen., • Strong knowledge of traditional ramen preparation techniques, including broths, tare, noodles, and toppings., • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality., • Ability to work efficiently under pressure., • Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills., • Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards., • Reliability, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for Japanese cuisine.
