Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Sports Coach to inspire and motivate individuals of all ages to achieve their athletic potential. As a Sports Coach, you will design engaging training sessions, foster a positive team environment, and promote healthy lifestyles through sports. The post has roles for both part-time and full-time coaches.
Duties
- Plan and deliver dynamic sports training sessions tailored to different skill levels and age groups
- Teach fundamental techniques, rules, and strategies for various sports in an engaging manner
- Provide constructive feedback to help participants improve their performance and confidence
- Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among all participants
- Monitor safety during activities, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines
- Organize friendly competitions and events to encourage participation and camaraderie
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and participant achievements
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching or related athletic instruction
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate clearly and motivate others
- Passion for sports, fitness, and promoting healthy lifestyles
- Ability to work effectively with diverse age groups and skill levels
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to safety protocols
- Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is a plus
- Reliable, energetic, and committed to creating an inclusive environment for all participants
