Introduction First Aid Instructor Permanent Part-time (20 hours per week) Hastings About the role Kōrero mō te tūranga In this role you will: • Teach the public first aid including ability to instil a sense of calm confidence and competence in people, • Build peoples capability so they can cope with real medical emergencies when they happen, • Have fun sharing knowledge with people using Red Crosss nationally recognised First Aid programme. To be successful you will have: We encourage you to apply for this role if you have (at least some of) these competencies: • A background in Emergency Care Services or related Health field and/or experience in a teaching environment is mandatory, • The confidence to interact with a cross-section of the public., • Passion for teaching and promoting safety within the community., • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment., • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
