Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness standards. - Cost Control & Budgeting: Help manage kitchen budgets by controlling food costs and waste. Work closely with restaurant management to ensure profitability while maintaining high-quality standards. - Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet our restaurant’s high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. We are looking for a sandwich artist/salad chef to join our growing team based in Finchely nurseries garden centre in Mill Hill East. We are looking for someone with experience working in a fast paced environment, who will predominantly be making toasties, sandwiches, salads, wraps and other dishes. You will also be expected to assist other chefs in preparation for other dishes. Must be flexible to work all days of the week, particularly on weekends. Ideally must live with on 30-45 mins from our cafe.
