We are looking for a Door Installation Technician in the Preston area. The role involves installing a wide range of doors, from small units to large heavy panels, often requiring two-person lifts. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights and hold a full UK driving licence.
Work is Monday to Friday, with occasional Sunday travel for early Monday site starts. Teams meet in Preston at 6:00 am and travel together to sites in a company van, with secure parking provided.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card
- DBS and full security clearance (military sites)
- Construction site experience
- Door fitting or mechanical background
- SSSTS/SMSTS beneficial but not essential
Hours & Pay:
- Mon–Thu: 8:00 am–4:30 pm
- Fri: 6:00 am–2:00 pm
- Overtime available
- £36,000–£38,000 DOE
Allowances:
- £25 per night tax-free
- £100 per week for staying away (Airbnb provided)
