Role Description The Graduate Consultant is a full-time, office-based role in Central London, Liverpool Street, supporting client projects across executive search, team build-out, and leadership advisory within the life sciences and private equity ecosystem. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and sector research, mapping organisations, and identifying key talent to support client mandates. The role involves preparing candidate profiles and reports, supporting interview preparation and debriefs, and contributing to the assessment and evaluation of leadership teams. The Graduate Consultant will work closely with senior consultants and partners, participate in client meetings, and develop insights that inform hiring and organisational decisions. The role also includes maintaining accurate project documentation, using CRM and research tools, and contributing to internal initiatives that enhance Luminary Group’s methodologies and knowledge base. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, offering the opportunity to develop expertise in executive search, consulting, market research, and the life sciences sector while working alongside experienced professionals. Essential Requirements • Language Requirement: Fluency in *Mandarin Chinese is essential*. Applicants who do not speak Mandarin Chinese will not be considered. Strong English communication skills are also required., • Relevant experience: Previous experience in recruitment, executive search, research, consulting, business development, sales, or a related client-facing or analytical role is required., • Research and analytical skills: Ability to gather information, analyse markets, identify relevant talent, and translate findings into clear, evidence-based insights., • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to prepare professional reports, candidate summaries, and client-ready documentation., • Relationship building: Confidence in developing professional relationships and communicating effectively with clients, candidates, and colleagues., • Organisation and attention to detail: Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and deliver high-quality work within deadlines., • Interest in private equity and life sciences: A genuine interest in developing sector knowledge across biotechnology, medtech, CRO/CDMO, diagnostics, and healthcare technology., • Digital proficiency: Confidence using digital tools and technology, with the ability to learn CRM systems, research databases, and productivity platforms., • Proactive mindset: Curiosity, initiative, integrity, and a willingness to take ownership of responsibilities while learning from experienced colleagues., • Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is desirable but not essential. Relevant experience, language skills, motivation, and potential will be given significant consideration.
