We are looking for someone who is: • An experienced bartender, • Fast and accurate under pressure, • Friendly and confident with customers, • Reliable and punctual, • Proactive, • Calm during busy service, • Comfortable working late nights, • Confident taking card and cash payments, • Able to upsell naturally without being pushy, • Able to work well with the Head Bartender, barbacks and wider team, • Able to maintain excellent service even when the bar is extremely busy Duties include: • Serving drinks quickly and accurately, • Preparing spirits, mixers, shots, beers and standard bar orders, • Taking payments correctly, • Upselling doubles, shots, premium spirits and other suitable options, • Acknowledging and engaging customers while managing busy queues, • Keeping the bar clean, organised and fully operationa, • Communicating stock, ice, glassware and replenishment needs to the barback, • Following approved measures, pricing and drink preparation standards, • Reporting spillages, breakages, shortages and wastage, • Supporting responsible alcohol service, • Escalating intoxication, safety or customer concerns to the Head Bartender or Duty Manager, • Helping with bar close-down at the end of the night Experience: Direct bartending experience is essential. Busy bar, nightclub, cocktail bar, events or high-volume hospitality experience is strongly preferred. You must be confident working independently behind the bar without needing basic bartender training during the shift.
