Position Overview: As the Restaurant Supervisor at Alley Cat's Pizzeria, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. We're looking for someone with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to oversee the front-of-house team and ensure smooth service throughout the day. Responsibilities: • Open and close the restaurant according to established procedures, including setting up and closing down equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and securing the premises, • Supervise and train front-of-house staff on proper service standards, including greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages, • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, • Give knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations, • Take orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our point-of-sale system, • Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to guests' tables, • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth service flow, • Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize revenue, • Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly Requirements: • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the restaurant industry, • Strong knowledge of front-of-house operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff training, and customer service, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members, • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, • Ability to work effectively under pressure and remain calm in high-stress situations, • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Benefits: 1.
