Electrical Maintenance & Utilities Engineer Competitive Salary + 14.5% company pension + 37 days holiday + Private Healthcare Days Role The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity, an Electrical Maintenance & Utilities Engineer join a highly stable and well-invested manufacturing site who are part of a £5billion global group. This is a newly created role as part of long-term succession planning, offering a unique split between utilities and hands-on electrical maintenance within a modern textile manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in maintaining critical site infrastructure while supporting production through high-quality electrical fault finding and preventative maintenance. The Role This is a hands-on position (70–80%) with leadership responsibility for a small utilities function. Role split: • 🔹 1 week per month – Utilities, • Boilers, steam systems, water treatment, compressed air, effluent systems, • 🔹 3 weeks per month – Electrical Maintenance, • Electrical fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery, • Maintenance of motors, Inverter drives, sensors and control systems, • Support and maintain site utilities (steam, water, air systems), • Ensure compliance with statutory checks (e.g. boiler inspections), • Lead and support a Utility Technician (with future team growth planned), • Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability projects The Candidate We’re looking for a qualified electrical engineer with strong fault-finding capability.
