Senior Validation Engineer On-site £65,000-£80,000 Join a purpose-driven, collaborative team working on cutting-edge chip and system technologies. What You’ll Do • Validate chipsets and high-speed analog IPs for functional and performance compliance, • Develop and own chip/system test plans in partnership with design and test teams, • Build automated test solutions in Python, • Debug issues, perform data analysis, and drive root-cause investigations, • Plan and execute chip & system-level tests to continually improve product quality, • Support test management tools and continuous integration workflows What You Bring • Experience testing telecommunications or satellite systems, • Strong background in chip/system validation, including analog, RF, and high-speed communication blocks, • Knowledge of testing methodologies, • Defect tracking (Jira and Confluence preferred), • Knowledge of SERDES, BERT, DCA and time-domain high-speed measurements, • Programming experience in automated test environments (Python/C/C++), • Excellent debugging, problem-solving and test-planning skills, • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, Power Meters, Sampling Scopes, etc.), • Solid understanding of RF fundamentals and communications theory, • Independent, self-motivated team player who thrives in fast-paced environments Additional Info This role requires BPSS screening (right to work, identity check, criminal record check, employment history verification, and references).
