Pro-Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our client. Our client, an innovator in the design and manufacture of ventilation and air-movement products, is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to join their team. The position is full time, permanent. Salary: Up to £50,000. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management • Lead and develop a multi disciplined team through R&D, design and production engineering., • Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, structure and accountability., • Lead engineering projects with clear strategic direction and effective resource planning., • Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met., • Monitor team performance and support professional development., • Oversee recruitment, training, and succession planning for the engineering team. Product Design & Development • Manage the full product life cycle from concept and prototyping to testing, certification, and manufacturing handover., • Ensure products comply with ventilation, energy efficiency, and safety standards., • Collaborate with product management to translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions. Technical & Regulatory Oversight • Ensure designs comply with relevant industry regulations, building regulations and standards, and environmental and sustainability directives., • Oversee product testing, validation, and certification., • Manage relationships with external suppliers, service providers, testing labs, and certification bodies. Requirements • Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent)., • 6+ years’ engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role., • Understanding of relevant manufacturing standards and regulations., • Experience with CAD - SolidWorks., • Strong project management experience., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desirable • Background in ventilation, HVAC, air handling, or related electromechanical systems., • Experience with CFD analysis, noise reduction techniques, or thermal performance modelling.
