Performance Systems Technician Location: Northamptonshire (with UK travel) About HELIX HELIX Human Performance Technologies is a premium recovery, wellness and performance systems company specialising in the manufacture, supply, installation and servicing of advanced recovery equipment across the UK. Our systems include: • Ice Baths, • Bespoke Saunas, • Cryotherapy Systems, • Red Light Therapy, • Hyperbaric Chambers, • Recovery & Wellness Equipment We work with: • Professional athletes, • Wellness facilities, • Luxury residential clients, • Commercial recovery spaces, • Performance-focused businesses As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on, reliable and motivated Performance Systems Technician to join the team. The Role This is a varied and practical role involving: • Manufacturing and building bespoke saunas, • Installation of recovery and wellness systems, • Equipment servicing and maintenance, • Workshop preparation and assembly, • Deliveries and on-site setup, • Supporting repairs and diagnostics, • Representing the HELIX brand professionally on-site You’ll work both from our Northamptonshire facility and at customer sites across the UK. No two days are the same — one day may involve building saunas in the workshop, while another may involve installing ice baths, servicing recovery and wellness systems or supporting commercial wellness projects on-site. Responsibilities • Build and manufacture bespoke saunas, • Install and commission recovery equipment, • Prepare equipment in the workshop before dispatch, • Carry out servicing, repairs and fault finding, • Support loading, logistics and installations, • Maintain high standards of workmanship and presentation, • Represent the company professionally with customers, • Assist with builds, events and demonstrations when required, • Ensure installations are completed safely and efficiently Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who is: • Practical and hands-on, • Reliable and organised, • Professional and customer-focused, • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, • Willing to travel and occasionally stay away overnight, • Keen to learn new systems and technologies, • An interest in wellness, human performance, biohacking and emerging wellness technologies is desirable but not essential.
