Job Title: Salesforce Engineer Location: London, UK (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week) Contract Type: Contract (Inside IR35) Duration: 6 months minimum Day Rate: Up to £450 per day Start Date: Immediate or negotiable Role Overview We're hiring a seasoned Salesforce Engineer to support the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions within a mature Salesforce org for a leading UK financial institution. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, building, and deploying features across Service Cloud, OmniStudio, and Lightning frameworks, while maintaining compliance with strict governance and regulatory standards. You'll work within a collaborative feature team, contributing to technical design, mentoring junior developers, and owning delivery from development through to production. The environment is fast-paced, agile, and outcome-driven-ideal for someone who thrives under pressure and takes pride in building robust, enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design and document scalable technical solutions in collaboration with architects and business stakeholders, • Configure and customize Salesforce using best practices, minimizing unnecessary custom code, • Develop and maintain Aura and Lightning Web Components (LWC) using Apex, • Build and enhance business processes using OmniStudio tools, • Own the full delivery life cycle-"you build it, you own it"-from development to deployment, • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across the team, • Contribute to test case development and ensure high-quality, production-ready code, • Address technical debt and maintain platform stability and scalability, • Use version control (Git) and deployment tools (Salesforce CLI, DX, Copado, Gearset) effectively, • Perform data imports, exports, and queries using Salesforce data management tools, • 7+ years of Salesforce platform development, • 5+ years building Aura and LWC components using Apex, • 2+ years hands-on experience with OmniStudio, • Strong technical design skills and experience working with architects, • Advanced Git proficiency (branching, merging, conflict resolution), • Experience with Salesforce deployment tools and CI/CD workflows, • Proficient in SOQL/SOSL, Flow Builder, and metadata inspection tools, • Familiarity with Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Workbench, Import Wizard), • Deep understanding of Salesforce best practices and governance in regulated environments, • Platform Developer I/II, • OmniStudio Developer, • Platform App Builder, • Administrator, • Collaborative and communicative across technical and non-technical teams, • Proactive and accountable for end-to-end delivery, • Resilient and adaptable in high-pressure environments, • Submit your CV and cover letter, • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a technical interview, including a live development task
