The role involves preparing surfaces using our equipment across the UK, as directed by our contracts Manager, on a variety of different sites, ensuring compliance with Safe Systems of Work and Health and Safety regulations. Responsibilities · Preparing and cleaning concrete, asphalt, steel and other hard surfaces, removal of old floor coverings, coatings and waterproof membranes · Completing projects as assigned by the contracts Manager to a high standard in accordance with project specifications · Co-ordinating and mentoring site labourers and apprentices · Transporting equipment and tools to and from site · Adhere to safety protocols and regulations · Collaborate with other teams to optimise efficiency · Document and record daily activities in accordance with procedures for submission to management Requirements · Proven record of equipment operation · Excellent communication skills · CSCS card · Ability to work as part of a team · Current UK driving licence · Strong work ethic and can do attitude · Willingness to work away from home as required · Flexibility in working hours Benefits · Holiday entitlement · Company Pension · Competitive hourly rates and overtime options · Opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the UK Training and career development opportunities
Health Care Assistants are required to provide person centred support to each resident, promoting their wellbeing. To ensure that the care we provide is in a pleasant and safe environment maintaining their dignity, assisting with intimate personal care, supporting those who have limited mobility making the best use of aids provided, and ensuring that the correct continence pads are used. Engage them with hobbies and activities in and outside the home. Changing beds, and completing general household chores, including the emptying and cleaning of commodes and waste bins. Clean wheelchairs and mobility equipment. Assist and support them with eating and drinking, lay tables and trays, serve and prepare light meals, wash up, and clear and tidy dining rooms. Monitor their health by taking temperature and weight, to liaise with professional staff. Staff need to take up and complete the Care Certificate within their probationary period.
