JOB DESCRIPTION Deputy Pub Manager/Manageress £30,000 - 35,000 Albury, Surrey This is an exciting opportunity to join our new dynamic team as we re-launch and look to deliver unparalleled fine dining experiences to our customers. We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and responsible Deputy Pub Manager to help lead the newly formed team and elevate our exceptional guest experience and continue our outstanding reputation in the area. The William IV is a traditional 16th century country pub nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills, surrounded by beautiful walking trails and riding countryside. It boasts a charming fireplace, flagstone floors and an intimate setting. About the role You will be responsible for: · Managing the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar.
· Supporting recruitment, induction and appraisals of employees.
· Training, developing and supervising our bar and restaurant team members.
· Maintaining high standards of quality, presentation and service in the bar and restaurant.
· Enhancing our guest experience and effectively handling queries and feedback.
· Organising events and parties whilst also managing our digital presence and social media content.
· Ordering and controlling stock. About you Requirements: · Previous experience in a managerial role within a fine-dining, restaurant or pub.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with internal members of staff and our external customers.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and experience working with ambiguity (every day will vary in terms of requirements and expectations).
