Experienced Kitchen Porter – Temp to Perm Opportunity Location: Milton Keynes Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm 'Occasional Weekend Work' Additional Weekend Work: Available Pay: Competitive hourly rate + enhanced weekend rates Position: Temporary to Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Kitchen Porter to join a busy catering operation based at a well-established and highly respected distribution site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous kitchen porter experience who is looking for a long-term position with the opportunity to become a permanent member of the client’s team. The Role: As a Kitchen Porter, you will play an important role in supporting the kitchen team and ensuring the catering operation runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include: • Washing up and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, • Keeping kitchen areas, equipment and utensils clean and organised, • Supporting chefs and the wider kitchen team during busy service periods, • Following all relevant food hygiene, health & safety and COSHH procedures, • Working efficiently as part of a busy team Working Hours The standard working hours are: Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 3:00pm There may also be opportunities to work weekends, which are paid at enhanced rates. About You We are looking for someone who: • Has previous experience working as a Kitchen Porter in a busy kitchen environment, • Is reliable, hardworking and punctual, • Can work well under pressure, • Has a good understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness, • Is comfortable working as part of a team, • Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic, • Is looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent Why Apply?
