As a new Mediterranean restaurant concept focused on healthy eating, we are committed to providing an exceptional dining experience to our guests, and our kitchen team is at the heart of this commitment. You will play a crucial role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the smooth operation of our busy kitchen. Our restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering a dynamic environment. Your key responsibilities will include: • Assisting chefs with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients., • Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, including washing dishes, sanitising workstations, and cleaning equipment., • Organising and storing deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation., • Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks to ensure efficient service., • Adhering to all health and safety regulations. We are looking for an individual who possesses: • A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn., • The ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently., • A commitment to maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment., • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights., • Excellent teamwork and communication skills., • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, across weekdays and weekends.
