Permanent Full Time Leeds or London Part of the Bank's Technology Leadership Team and reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Central Services COO, this role provides the business management, governance and operational oversight needed to run safe, secure and resilient technology services for the Bank of England. As a member of the Technology Leadership Team, you will be individually and collectively responsible for the Bank's information technology and computer systems, through which the Bank delivers its mission. You will lead the core OCIO disciplines that enable effective technology leadership, including financial management and reporting, strategic supplier management, resource and demand management, regulatory compliance, audit coordination, risk management and performance reporting. Core to your role will be building strong relationships with the CIO, the TLT and key partners across the Bank who work closely with the Technology Directorate, including Finance, Change and Planning, People, Risk, Procurement and other central functions. This is a people management role. You will be responsible for day to day management of the team and for defining roles and responsibilities. You will develop your team through sharing information effectively, coaching and communicating a clear vision to ensure that your staff are productive, engaged and motivated to deliver the area's aims. This will include setting clear goals and smart stretching objectives that are aligned to those of the team, division and directorate. You will also be responsible for managing all staff-related matters that may arise including performance, absence and sickness. • Management of finances, performance and financial reporting, • You are responsible for maintaining oversight of the financial performance of the Technology Directorate., • You work with the finance business partner and CIO to support financial and business planning,
