I will be looking for someone to start in September/October after I have relocated to Chessington UK. Duties will vary from helping me to organise paperwork and make my processes smoother, running errands, supporting me in my home. Confidentiality is very important in my line of work. So the candidate must be proactive and trustworthy. You will be working within my home and I can be flexible with working hours. Knowledge of Access to Work processes would be preferred but not essential. I have two small dogs and 1 cat on the property. I am very laid back and enjoy a relaxed yet fun atmosphere in my home. Riverlee Books has been in business for 15 years and is looking for a casual worker on a regular basis to catalogue books from home so that they can be sold on internet sites. We will supply the books, also a handheld scanner to read bar codes. You will need a laptop, PC or tablet and an internet connection. I will give full training and examples of descriptions. You DON'T need to read the books(!); the catalogue description just needs to state whether the book is in good condition, hardcover or paperback etc. I can supply the books, normally 4 boxes at a time containing about 20-25 books each. Usually cataloguers aim to complete four boxes a week but that may vary during school holiday periods (for example), When the file is complete you send it to me attached to an email or etc. For four catalogued boxes I pay £65, plus extra for high value sales. You need to be based in the North Enfield/ Broxbourne / Waltham Abbey area or adjoining areas for collection purposes. No car needed as I can deliver, and hours entirely to suit. So will suit someone with young school age children, or a retired person etc.
