A Sushi Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting fresh, high-quality sushi and other Japanese dishes while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards. Key duties include: • Preparing sushi, sashimi, nigiri, maki rolls, and other menu items., • Selecting, cutting, and handling fresh fish, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients., • Ensuring all food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and portion sizes., • Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety regulations., • Monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, and minimizing food waste., • Checking the freshness and quality of ingredients before use., • Providing excellent customer service by preparing food efficiently and responding to customer requests when needed., • Following health and safety procedures at all times., • Working as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food preparation.
