Position: African & Caribbean Foods Store Manager Preferred Candidate: Male, aged 30–40 years Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and reliable Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of an African and Caribbean food store. Key Requirements: Must have good knowledge and understanding of African food ingredients, products, and cooking essentials. Must be able to identify and explain the uses of different African food products and ingredients. Must be able to speak and understand English and Yoruba fluently. Previous experience working in an African/Caribbean food store, supermarket, or similar retail environment is preferred. Good customer service and communication skills. Ability to manage stock, monitor inventory, and maintain an organised store. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently. Good understanding of sales, cash handling, and general store management. Main Responsibilities: • Manage the day-to-day running of the store., • Assist and advise customers on African and Caribbean food products., • Monitor stock levels and arrange restocking when necessary., • Ensure the store is clean, organised, and well presented., • Receive and check deliveries., • Manage staff and daily store activities where required., • Handle cash and maintain accurate sales records., • Ensure customers receive friendly and professional service.
