    About the Role We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial and payroll records, processing day-to-day financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting management with financial information and cost analysis. Key Responsibilities • Record and verify daily financial transactions relating to sales and purchases., • Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records., • Reconcile accounts and identify and resolve discrepancies., • Prepare provisional balances and financial information for management review., • Calculate employees’ hours worked, wages, deductions and statutory contributions., • Process payroll accurately and on time, including holiday, sick and maternity pay., • Process employee expense claims and maintain supporting documentation., • Prepare cost and overhead analyses to assist management with financial planning and decision-making., • Maintain accurate payroll and accounting records in accordance with UK regulations and company procedures., • Assist with general financial administration and provide information required for internal reporting., • Ensure financial records are kept securely, accurately and up to date. Essential Skills and Experience • Previous experience in bookkeeping, payroll or a similar financial administration role., • Good understanding of bookkeeping and payroll processes., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy., • Good numerical and analytical skills., • Ability to maintain confidential financial and employee information., • Good organisational and time-management skills., • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines., • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting/payroll systems., • Understanding of UK payroll requirements and financial record-keeping. Desirable • Relevant bookkeeping, accounting or payroll qualification., • Experience working with accounting software., • Experience preparing cost, overhead or management information.

    We are seeking a reliable HGV 1 Tramper to join our team., working Sunday to Friday NIGHTS As an HGV 1 Tramper, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all regulations and company policies. The job is mainly depot to depot trunking and trailer swaps with no handball all loads are strapped for you so no load interaction needed. All trucks are new and fully equipped with fridges and microwaves. Responsibilities • Operate HGV 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all road traffic regulations., • Conduct pre-journey checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working order., • Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork., • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues via an app., • Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times., • Adhere to health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.
