Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to take ownership of commercial kitchen installation projects from post-sales handover through to final completion. You will be the key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, responsible for coordinating M&E, logistics, contractors, suppliers, and client communications. The role demands a high level of organisation, technical understanding, and a proactive approach. The successful candidate will be confident managing their own diary, prioritising tasks, and ensuring regular attendance on client sites across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities: • Manage all phases of the project from internal sales handover to final client sign-off., • Liaise regularly with internal design teams, suppliers, contractors, and external stakeholders (e.g., architects, consultants, and main contractors)., • Attend and contribute to all relevant project design and mechanical/electrical coordination meetings to ensure catering-specific requirements are integrated and followed., • Create, update, and manage project programmes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of all milestones., • Oversee daily coordination and performance of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring work is delivered to specification, on time and within budget., • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety compliance, and resolve on-site issues proactively., • Work closely with main contractors to ensure clear communication, alignment on timelines, access requirements, and site-specific protocols., • Work with procurement/logistics to ensure timely delivery of kitchen equipment and materials in line with project phasing., • Ensure all activities on-site meet current health & safety regulations and best practices, including management of RAMS., • Provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting risks, issues, and any deviations from scope or schedule., • Ensure smooth project handover to the client, including delivery of O&M manuals and end-user training where applicable. Experience Required: • Proven experience managing commercial kitchen installations with full lifecycle responsibility., • Excellent communication skills, with experience working alongside main contractors and other trades., • Confident leading coordination meetings and resolving design/M&E clashes or delays., • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics., • Proficient in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, or similar)., • Full UK Driving Licence (or local equivalent)., • CSCS Card holder., • SMSTS certification is desirable.
