    Job Title: Business Development Executive (BDE) SOC Code: 3554 Salary: £41,700 – £43,000 per annum Work Location: 15 Dalry Rd, Edinburgh EH11 2BQ Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive (BDE) to support the growth and expansion of our group of Vietnamese restaurants in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing new business opportunities, maintaining key partnerships, and supporting the management team in executing strategic initiatives to drive revenue and brand visibility across the group. Key Responsibilities: Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities, including collaborations, partnerships, and new customer segments. Conduct market research to analyse trends in the food and beverage industry, competitor activity, and customer preferences, specifically in the Vietnamese and Asian dining sectors. Develop and implement sales strategies and promotional plans to increase restaurant traffic and grow both dine-in and takeaway sales. Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event organisers, and local community groups to promote private dining, catering services, and partnerships. Manage and expand our digital marketing channels, including overseeing content creation for social media, website updates, and customer engagement campaigns. Liaise closely with the management and operations teams across our three restaurant brands to ensure aligned business objectives and smooth execution of growth strategies. Prepare monthly reports and performance reviews to assess business development progress and recommend actionable improvements. Attend industry events, networking meetings, and promotional activities on behalf of the company to represent the brand and foster new business leads. Support the director and senior management team in expansion projects, including new site launches and brand development initiatives. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the hospitality or food & beverage sector. Strong knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and culture, with the ability to represent our brand authentically in the market. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Familiarity with digital marketing tools, and social media management is an advantage. Fluency in English is required; Vietnamese language skills are a plus but not essential. Salary & Benefits: Workplace pension scheme. 28 days of paid holiday leave (inclusive of public holidays).
