Residential Registered Manager Bedfield, Suffolk £45,000 per annum Permanent 37.5 hours per week, Full-time Sunday 2 November 2025 As a Residential Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of one of our Ofsted-registered sole placement homes, providing specialist support to a young person with complex needs. In this role, you will lead your home through effective communication, professionalism, and a child-centred approach — ensuring the highest possible standard of care and support. You will inspire your team to deliver nurturing, therapeutic care within a safe and structured environment, where every decision is made in the best interest of the child. This role benefits from the support of an off-shift Deputy Manager, dedicated to assisting with the day-to-day management of the home, providing leadership coverage, and supporting you in maintaining a consistently high-quality service. You will bring experience, resilience, and a commitment to excellence to ensure JMR Healthcare remains at the forefront of providing world-class outcomes for some of the most vulnerable children and young people in society. To apply for our Residential Registered Manager role, you will need: · Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care (Essential) · Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or the willingness to complete the qualification · At least 3 years’ experience working with young people with significant challenging behaviour in either secure or residential settings, with a minimum of 1 year’s experience supervising and leading staff within a regulated children’s home. · Meet the requirements of Regulation 28 of the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations Act 2015. · A strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Children Act 1989, Children Act 2004, Care Standards Act 2000, and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015. · Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with a good working knowledge of IT software.
