Job Description: We are seeking skilled individual to join our team as an F&B chef/ assistant.This role combines elements of food preparation, customer service, and kitchen assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a love for cooking, a keen attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of fish and chips, chicken dishes, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed. Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, answering questions, and addressing any concerns. Contribute creative ideas for menu development and special promotions. Support the head chef and kitchen staff in various tasks as assigned. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including frying, grilling, and basic knife skills.( We are also happy to train) Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
