Job description About Us: LLC Tuition is a reputable tutoring centre located in Barking. We are dedicated to providing high-quality education to students, focusing on English, Maths and Science subjects at both A Level and GCSE levels. Our goal is to empower students to achieve their academic potential and excel in their studies. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled English, Maths, and Science Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, particularly having completed their studies from a grammar school. They will be responsible for providing comprehensive tutoring sessions to A Level and GCSE students, ensuring they grasp key concepts, improve their understanding, and achieve excellent results in their examinations. Responsibilities: a) Plan and deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions in English, Maths and Science for A Level and GCSE students. b) Tailor teaching methods and materials to suit individual student needs and learning styles. c) Help students develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in their subject knowledge. d) Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to ensure continuous improvement. e) Prepare students for exams by reviewing exam syllabus, practicing past papers, and imparting exam-taking strategies. f) Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and feedback. Requirements: a) Bachelor's degree running/completed. b) Completed GCSE/A-Level from a grammar school is highly preferred. c) NCFE Level 2 Qualification in Childcare is highly preferred. d) Completion of a First Aid Course is highly preferred. e) Proven experience in tutoring English, Maths, and Science at A Level and GCSE levels. f) Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
