A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production & Warehouse Manager to join an established manufacturing business in East London. \n We are looking for a hands-on, practical manager who has previous experience working within a manufacturing environment and can confidently oversee both production and warehouse operations. \n The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hands-on assembly of small parts/components, quality inspection and team supervision, warehouse management together with a valid FLT license. \n The Role \n You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day production and warehouse operation, ensuring that products are assembled correctly, quality standards are maintained and materials and finished goods are efficiently managed. \n Key responsibilities include: \n\n • Managing daily production and warehouse operations.\n, • Supervising and coordinating production and warehouse staff.\n, • Carrying out hands-on assembly of small parts and components.\n, • Ensuring products are assembled accurately and to specification.\n, • Conducting quality inspections and final product checks.\n, • Identifying and resolving quality or production issues.\n, • Managing goods-in, stock movement, picking, packing and dispatch.\n, • Operating a forklift when required and ensuring safe movement of materials.\n, • Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate records.\n, • Ensuring production schedules and customer deadlines are achieved.\n, • Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and housekeeping.\n, • Supporting staff training and development.\n, • Identifying opportunities to improve production, quality and warehouse processes.\n, • Working closely with management and other departments to ensure smooth operations.\n\n About You \n The successful candidate will ideally have: \n\n • Previous experience as a Production Manager, Production Supervisor, Warehouse Manager or similar.\n, • Strong experience within a manufacturing environment.\n, • Proven hands-on assembly experience, ideally working with small parts/components.\n, • Previous experience in quality inspection / quality control.\n, • Experience supervising or managing a production/warehouse team.\n, • A valid FLT licence.\n, • Good knowledge of warehouse operations, including goods-in, stock control and dispatch.\n, • Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.\n, • Good organisational and problem-solving skills.\n, • A practical, hands-on approach to management.\n, • The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.\n, • Computer literate and excellent customer service\n\n
