The successful candidate will act exclusively for the company, providing clear and commercially focused legal advice across our property portfolio. \n This is an excellent opportunity for a senior solicitor with substantial commercial property experience to work in-house for one client and manage a varied commercial property caseload. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Provide specialist legal advice on a broad range of commercial property matters.\n, • Draft, review and negotiate commercial leases, licences, deeds of variation, lease renewals and other property-related agreements.\n, • Manage commercial property acquisitions from initial instruction through to completion.\n, • Conduct and review property due diligence, title documentation, searches and enquiries.\n, • Advise on landlord and tenant matters, including lease assignments, subletting, alterations and surrender arrangements.\n, • Support the business with property disposals, refinancing and portfolio management matters where required.\n, • Identify legal and commercial risks and provide practical solutions that protect the company’s interests.\n, • Liaise and negotiate with tenants, landlords, agents, lenders, external solicitors and other professional advisers.\n, • Ensure all property transactions comply with applicable legislation and internal procedures.\n, • Maintain accurate legal records and provide regular updates on ongoing matters.\n, • Monitor relevant legislative developments and advise the business on any potential impact. \n\n \n Requirements \n\n • Qualified solicitor with an active practising certificate and registration with the Solicitors Regulation Authority.\n, • Ideally, experience in commercial property law.\n, • Extensive experience handling commercial leases and commercial property acquisitions.\n, • Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant law and commercial property transactions.\n, • Previous in-house experience would be advantageous but is not essential.\n, • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.\n, • Commercially minded, with the ability to provide practical and solutions-focused legal advice.\n, • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.\n, • Ability to manage a varied caseload independently and meet competing deadlines.\n, • Proactive, organised and comfortable working closely with senior management and other departments. \n\n \n Benefits \n\n • Company pension\n, • Free parking\n, • On-site parking\n, • Work from home\n
