We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pizza Chef / Italian Line Cook with a strong background in Italian cuisine—especially pizza preparation. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, consistency, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes with a focus on pizza Stretch, top, and bake pizzas to company standards Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and fully stocked Work efficiently during high-volume service periods Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth operations Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in Italian cuisine, with strong pizza-making skills Knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques Ability to work long hours and stay organized under pressure Must be flexible with schedule, including nights and weekends Valid Food Handler’s Permit (NYC preferred) Strong work ethic, punctual, and reliable Team player with a positive attitude Preferred Qualifications Experience in high-volume NYC kitchens Familiarity with deck ovens / gas ovens Understanding of food cost and kitchen efficiency
