Key Responsibilities: ● Dishwashing: ○ Utilize 3 compartment sink to wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchenware efficiently. ○ Sort, stack, and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas. ○ Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. ○ Maintain/clean/schedule grease trap cleaning ● Kitchen Assistance: ○ Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients. ○ Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and keeping track of ingredients. ○ Clean and sanitize workstations, counters, and kitchen equipment as required. ○ Maintenance or refrigerator, freezer and dry storage organization ○ Assist in maintaining a safe and organized kitchen environment. ● Team Collaboration: ○ Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
We are looking to hire a hard-working kitchen helper to clean, stock, and maintain the kitchen as well as help with the preparation of meal ingredients. The kitchen helper’s responsibilities include retrieving ingredients from the refrigerator, freezer, and stockroom, measuring ingredients as per the cook's instructions, and removing leftovers from patrons’ plates, bowls, and glasses. You should also be able to ensure that all work areas are properly sanitized.
Their job duties typically include: Basic English is required!!! 1. Food Preparation: Washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients. 2. Cleaning: Maintaining cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as sanitizing surfaces and floors. 3. Storing Supplies: Organizing and storing food and kitchen supplies, ensuring proper stock levels. 4. Assisting Cooks/Chefs: Helping with basic tasks such as mixing ingredients, measuring, or fetching supplies during meal preparation. 5. Waste Management: Collecting and disposing of trash, recycling, and ensuring proper waste segregation. 6. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are followed, such as wearing gloves and maintaining a clean workspace. 7. Maintaining Equipment Cleaning and organizing kitchen appliances, ensuring everything is in working order.
Responsibilities: Preparing meal ingredients for the cook, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients. Assisting kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks. Properly washing and drying all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards. Neatly putting away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes, and cutting boards in their respective places. Packing take-out orders as needed. Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans. Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required. Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.
