POSITION OVERVIEW The Group Fitness Manager is responsible for elevating Gotham Gym’s group fitness experience, ensuring it remains the pinnacle of boxing-inspired training in NYC and Miami. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of fitness trends, instructor excellence, and business growth strategies. The ideal candidate is a visionary who drives innovation, curates elite programming, and ensures a consistently sold-out schedule. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute a best-in-class group fitness program aligned with Gotham Gym’s brand identity. Recruit, train, and manage a high-caliber roster of instructors who deliver an elite, results-driven experience. Expand and refine the class schedule to optimize attendance, ensuring at least five fully booked sessions daily. Leverage data analytics to track attendance, refine scheduling, and introduce high-demand classes. Implement rigorous standards for instruction, ensuring consistency, energy, and engagement across all sessions. Set and enforce policies for instructor professionalism, punctuality, and performance. Maintain a curated approach to class formats and playlists to enhance brand consistency and client experience. BUSINESS GROWTH & MEMBER ENGAGEMENT Develop and execute strategies to maximize class participation and client retention. Drive engagement through instructor-driven marketing, exclusive events, and member loyalty initiatives. Collaborate with leadership to secure partnerships, premium training experiences, and industry collaborations. Identify opportunities for expansion, including private group training, workshops, and high-performance coaching. Utilize member insights and class performance metrics to refine offerings and maintain Gotham Gym’s competitive edge. REPORTING & STRATEGIC INSIGHTS Track and analyze attendance trends, optimizing scheduling and instructor performance. Provide leadership with regular reports on instructor development, member feedback, and business impact. Present data-driven recommendations for new initiatives and operational enhancements. LEADERSHIP & CULTURE Inspire and mentor instructors, fostering a high-performance, results-oriented culture. Introduce cutting-edge programming to keep Gotham Gym ahead of industry trends. Promote a collaborative, goal-driven environment across all departments. Adapt quickly to evolving business needs, ensuring Gotham Gym remains a leader in boutique fitness.
